African culture means the distinctive way of life of Africans as embodied in their customs,
beliefs, art, morals, law and traits. This, in practical terms will include our house types,
marriage systems, our weaving patterns, the food we eat and the peculiar ways we cook them,
the dresses that we wear and the peculiar way that we sew them, our ways of naming a child
and the meaning of our names, our proverbial sayings as they reflect our daily activities,
our method of interaction with elders, our style of music, the way we dance, and many more.
These are things anybody growing up in Africa can acquire, through socialization, even if
they are not Africans by origin.
